United Industries, Inc. has announced Mark Ferm as it’s newly appointed Chief Executive Officer effective September 1, 2017. Ferm’s appointment will further strengthen United Industries core plastics manufacturing business and increase strategic capitalization of emerging market opportunities.
Ferm, 49, retains an extensive track record of leadership and business success as Vice President of Sales for United Industries since he began working for the corporation at age 26 in 1993. Mark succeeds his brother and former CEO John Ferm, whose father Don founded United Industries in 1980. Ferm’s extensive industry experience and specialized approach to distributor service, product deployment and plastics manufacturing methods will continue to sharpen and transform United Industries performance well into the future.
